Open Repositories 2006:  Accommodation

Delegates to Open Repositories 2006 will be responsible for their own accommodation bookings.  Here are some suggestions.

Carlton Crest Hotel
The University of Technology, Sydney, is one of the partners in the organisation of this series of events and has been able to extend its visitor arrangement with the Carlton Crest Hotel to cover OR2006 delegates.  Delegates are requested to place their bookings directly with the Reservations Department, mentioning Open Repositories 2006, by telephone: on 61 2 9281 6888 or fax 61 2 9281 4237 or email res@carltoncrest-sydney.com.au.   The cost is A$135.00 per room per night, (single, twin or double) and buffet breakfast rate of A$18.50 per person, provided it is requested at the time of reservation.  Should triple room occupancy be required, in some instances the room rate will be an additional $35.00 per night, except where the third person is a child under 12 years of age. (Children under 12, sharing a room with parents, are at no additional cost.)  The Carlton Crest is located about 20 minutes walk from OR2006 events.

Sancta Sophia College
is located in the grounds of the University of Sydney, about 5 minutes walk from OR2006 events.    Delegates can email conf@sancta.usyd.edu.au to request accommodation.  Visit their website and map.
