AIRS -Australian Institutional Repositories Survey

Partner
APSR
Description

The AIRS Project was designed to assist APSR to understand the requirements of institutional repositories, better understand the collective aspirations of the sector and to define the place of institutional repositories in the research information infrastructure.

Interviews were held in the third quarter of 2006 with senior administrators of fourteen Australian universities, including the eight largest research universities (the GO8), APSR partners and associates, ARROW partners and a small number of others. Those interviewed were research administrators, repository managers and university librarians.
