A two-day user group workshop for existing and potential users of PKP software products will be held at the University of Sydney on December 4 and 5, 2008.
APSR is planning a workship on this topic to be held at the University of Melbourne on August 8, 2008. Overheads are now available.
In association with the workshop, APSR is pleased to present two new publications.
This report by Margaret Henty, Belinda Weaver, Stephanie Bradbury and Simon Porter presents all the findings of the Data Management Survey conducted at The University of Queensland, The University of Melbourne and Queensland University of Technology in 2007. The report, based on the responses of 879 researchers, covers all aspects of data management including the use of data management plans, storage and backup, data sharing, data ownership and much more.
The Graduate Information Literacy Program at ANU is now offering a course for researchers and graduate students on data management planning. The comprehensive Manual is accompanied by a Data Management Planning Template and Course Slides. Both the Manual and the Template are available as MS Word documents for others to download and adapt for local use.
A workshop on this topic was held on Tuesday, June 3, at the National Library of Australia. Overheads and presentations are available.
