The ORCA Support Network training program was designed to provide some of the professional development required by researchers, technologists, and collection managers. One important aspect of this is ensuring that researchers have the skills to develop their own data management plans.
In early 2008, APSR funded the Information Literacy Program at The Australian National University to develop a training program for postgraduate students and academics on this topic. The results of the ANU project can be seen at http://ilp.anu.edu.au/dm/. The training program is now operational and offered through the Information Literacy Program at ANU.
